(Parte I). Durante este mes de Marzo, el pueblo japonés fue atacado por la fuerza de la naturaleza hasta límites insospechados. Un pueblo que, dando un ejemplo de entereza a las otras naciones, incluida la nuestra, ha sido capaz de mantener la compostura en todo momento. Por este motivo, en recuerdo de dicho pueblo, voy a comenzar a hablar de una de las tradiciones más antiguas de Japón, la cual está estrechamente relacionada con uno de los fenómenos más hermosos producidos por la Madre Naturaleza: el florecimiento de los árboles. Se trata del Hanami. El Hanami es la costumbre tradicional japonesa de observar, y disfrutar, de la belleza de las flores, aunque, por lo general, dicha costumbre se asocie al periodo en el que florecen los cerezos. Dicho florecimiento se produce por todo el país, de sur a norte, desde finales del mes de Marzo hasta finales del mes de Abril, siendo los primeros árboles en florecer los situados en las islas de Okinawa, la región más meridional, y los últimos los situados en la isla de Hokkaido, la región más septentrional. El pronóstico de florecimiento es anunciado cada año por la agencia de metereología. En la actualidad, durante el Hanami, el pueblo japonés acude mayoritariamente a los parques para contemplar el florecimiento de los cerezos, y para celebrar una fiesta, debajo de dichos árboles, con la familia, o con la empresa (Durante estos días es habitual ver a los empleados de menor categoría guardando los mejores sitios debajo de los cerezos). En dicha fiesta, durante la noche, la cual recibe el nombre de Yozakura, se cuelgan multitud de linternas de papel para el disfrute de los asistentes. Este fue un bailarín virtuoso, el cuál asistió a la escuela del Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires pero sus más grandes contribuciones a la danza la dió de la mano de Murice Béjart en el Ballet del Siglo XX a partir de 1963. Béjart creó obras especialmente para él. Falleció el Lausanne a causa de HIV en 1992 pero su danza queda inmortalizada en este día y en cada uno de los bailarines que lo recuerdan y le brindan reconocimiento en su propio arte. ´Pienso seguir bailando todo lo que pueda y dedicarme a la enseñanza en la nueva escuela de Béjart.
